About Us

Our passion is helping women on their concealed carry journey.

Flashbang Holsters founder Lisa Looper was introduced to the world of firearms when she started working at the family business in Oklahoma City, selling holsters and belts to law enforcement officers from all over the metro area.  She heard over and over again how these officers struggled with finding concealed carry options for their wives and daughters and was the recipient of a lot of helpful advice about the need for her to carry a firearm for self protection. Despite all the well-meaning advice, she persisted in her stubborn "I'll kick 'em and run" mindset because she experienced the same difficulty in finding a holster that worked with her clothing style and body type.

In May of 2005, everything began to change as Lisa became a first-time mom and realized the option to run was quickly replaced with the struggle of getting a newborn in and out of a car seat. (If you've been there, you know the struggle is real!)  This led to a much more determined effort to find a concealed carry option that worked for her, and through many experimental methods and failed attempts, the Flashbang Holster was born.
